Kids Dental Checkups & Cleanings

We encourage you to bring your child to our office every six months for a regular dental exam and cleaning. During this visit, our friendly dentists and team will gently clean your child’s teeth and check for signs of dental problems, such as tooth decay. Each member of our team is caring and gentle, and we are excellent at making children feel comfortable.
We understand that it is important to build a positive, trusting relationship between your child and all of their doctors at a young age, and we are dedicated to ensuring that your child feels comfortable and safe at our office. If you have any questions about your child’s dental health or oral development, we welcome you to ask us during the visit or by calling our office.
Dental Sealants

Cavities are one of the most common dental problems among all of our patients, but especially children, as they’re still learning how to properly brush and floss their teeth. To help minimize their risk of decay and reduce their chances of needing a restoration, we offer dental sealants. These are clear surfaces that are brushed onto the top chewing surface of their molars to prevent food debris and bacteria from collecting in their pits and grooves.
Lip & Tongue Tie Treatment

Lip and tongue ties can impact your child’s oral mobility, leading to ripple effects such as food aversion, sleep-breathing disorders, speech impediments, and difficulty gaining weight. Our team offers precise soft tissue laser frenectomies to improve the mobility of their lips and tongue, which will benefit their oral function.
Pulp Treatment

If your child is complaining of a persistent toothache that won’t seem to go away on its own, we encourage you to reach out to our team to schedule an examination. In many cases, severe toothaches are caused by an infection that has attacked the nerves of the tooth and requires pulp treatment. This procedure can help erase your child’s discomfort as well as preserve their tooth so it can fall out naturally on its own.
Children’s Dental Care at Home

In addition to bringing your child to our office for regular checkups, it is important that you help your child establish good oral hygiene habits at home. Teach your child to brush and floss their teeth every day and help them maintain a balanced, healthy diet. We invite you to call or visit our office today to learn more about pediatric dentistry and how we can care for your family.
