Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Nelson decided he wanted to become a dentist during undergraduate school while researching endangered turtles. He realized after he got bit that his talents would be put to better use serving people!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After attending Cornell for his undergraduate studies, he went to Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2017. He has completed advanced training in CEREC same-day dental crowns and tooth extractions, and he has certifications in dental implants and laser dentistry.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever Dr. Nelson isn’t at the dental office, he enjoys going to the gym, running, golfing, and working on pinball machines. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son and their two dogs, Mac and Roni. An interesting fact about Dr. Nelson is that he received a scholarship in college for voice acting.
